We had a great stay at Stardust Big Bend. Great location, beautiful star gazing. We loved the quality of stay at this A-frame resort. Small and quaint. FIre pit and great outdoor spaces a nice touch for leisure time. We even utilized the club house with game equipment and enjoyed that very much. We would stay here again in a heart beat. We loved it!!

Stardust Big Bend is incredible. The accommodations are high quality and the service was great. We were in A-frame #10 and the morning sunrises out the bedroom were spectacular. The patio furniture is so comfortable. The dark skies were a thrill for us and it didn’t disappoint at Stardust. We enjoyed the campfire each night as well. We stayed for three nights and explored Big Bend National Park. The reason for a four star for the room is the bed is very low (platform style) and may be difficult for some to get out of…I didn’t realize this when I booked and we had our elderly father with us. I just wanted others to be aware. But the comfort of the bed was fine.

We stayed at Stardust Big Bend for three nights while exploring Big Bend National Park and doing several hikes, and it was absolutely perfect. From the start, the hosts provided clear instructions on how to get there and gave us very helpful recommendations on where to fuel up on the way to Terlingua—super important since there are long stretches without gas stations or cell service. The cabin itself was flawless: spotless, well organized, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell they thought of every little detail. It has all the amenities you could possibly need, including a grill, fire pit, hammock, lounge area, and outdoor chairs that are perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset. They even provide a utility cart wagon to easily carry your luggage from the car to the cabin, which was a very thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated their commitment to keeping outdoor lighting low to preserve the night sky. While you can enjoy the stars from the property, we highly recommend heading into the park at night for truly breathtaking stargazing. One thing to note is that restaurant options in Terlingua are very limited, so we recommend bringing your own groceries. The cabin is fully equipped for cooking, with all the utensils you need (even grill cutlery) making it easy and enjoyable to prepare your own meals. Overall, Stardust Big Bend was the perfect home base for our Big Bend adventure. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved our stay at Stardust! It was very close to Big Bend National Park, which made exploring so easy. The amenities were perfect for our family of five. We stayed in the cottage, and it truly had everything we needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch. After long days of hiking, the kids loved spending time in the clubhouse playing games while the parents were able to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. We spent two nights. The A frames are fantastic. Very close to food and of course big bend. Adding picture of the night the FULL moon did not cooperate with the night sky. This was view of the moon shining in the cabin. Awesome time, thank Stardust!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The Stardust accommodation was perfect. Very clean, a great location for hiking in Big Bend, and so peaceful. My husband and I spent three nights there and enjoyed every minute. We especially loved the fire pit, sitting in the Adirondack chairs while stargazing and morning coffee while watching the sun rise! I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families with one or two children.

We were very impressed with the A‑frame structure of the place — it immediately set the tone for a unique and peaceful Big Bend experience. The design feels intentional and welcoming, blending modern comfort with that rugged desert simplicity that fits the landscape so well. The owners were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. They let us know as soon as our room was ready, and when we couldn’t book the Cottage for all three nights, they made the transition to the A‑frame seamless. They even allowed us to keep our things in the Cottage while we were out hiking, which made the whole day so much easier. Inside, everything was thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with — a real gift after long days on the trails. The space felt clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with big windows that brought in the morning light and framed the desert beautifully. Our A‑frame’s bedroom faced the highway, so we did experience some road noise and headlights at night. We suggested adding blackout curtains, and the owner emailed us to say they were already installing them based on our feedback, which is a great sign of how attentive they are to their guests’ experience. For our next visit, we’ll try to book one of the units toward the back of the property to avoid the lights and noise. Even with that, the location was perfect for exploring the park during the day and stargazing at night. It felt remote enough to be peaceful, yet close enough to make getting around simple. Overall, Stardust Big Bend elevated our entire trip. It’s the kind of place where the design, the setting, and the hospitality all work together to create a memorable stay. We will be back!

We stayed in their only container house. While it was small, it was super clean, very very well stocked! The club house was a great place to play some games with friends. We had 4 chairs outside to watch the dark sparkling sky. Best of all, their communication regarding our reservation, where to get the best price for gas…restaurant hours etc was excellent. We didn’t stay in one of the A-frames, but they looked very very nice, with more room. We would highly recommend!
